30 Days, 30 Monsters | day twenty
Some would say that Gamera is the K-Mart Godzilla. I would say fuck you.
Gamera, star of Daiei’s kaiju staple, is a giant turtle who spits fire and flies. Awesome. He’s a prehistoric monster who got by with eating jet fuel, which might explain why he shoots fire from his mouth. He is the last of his kind, as it goes with most kaiju, and is typically not a bad guy. One of Gamera’s monikers is “Friend of All Children.” What a sweet turtle. He was invented as a rival to the popularity of Godzilla and enjoyed great success in his own right.
Gamera came to my notice as a young child by way of Mystery Science Theater 3000, which lovingly lampooned a great number of films featuring the big guy.
Furudate Haruichi: Haikyuu!! special chapter 43.5
I want to be friends with other male Haikyuu fans (I also wish more guys would cosplay Haikyuu).
In which Rodan takes off Kaiser Ghidorah’s center head with a sonic boom, then, like Team Rocket, is sent blasting off again.

For the Lazy people that Can’t Find the Video.
Lysandre looks cool in this. And Pyroar appears!
Who do you guys hope voices him? In any language. Me, I hope he gets dubbed by the guy who was Giovanni in Origins.
If he is the narrator from the first special, his English voice actor is HD Quinn, who has previously played Skyla’s grandfather, the Connoisseur that Cilan went against later in BW, Cobalion in the movie, and Ash’s Hawlucha.
No no, I mean Jamieson Price. I figured saying who he’d played would be easier.
